We went with Woods Fort because in 2021 we met with the coordinator, placed a down payment, and were assured we would be able to... have plated meals. Sometime between 2021 and October 2022, the plated meals option was removed and the venue refused to honorthe agreement. We had to do a buffet. With a change of menu and pricing, we were not notified. This resulted in the menuselection being within 10 days of the event after I reached out to confirm event details. With such short notice, the invoicewas due immediately upon receipt which incurred a penalty for using a credit card. They would not accept a check or cash on theday of. Living 4 hours away, a credit card was the only option. The food, venue, and service the day of were very good. Everything leading up to was so frustrating and aggravating we were searching for any other option for our rehearsal dinner. Iwill not be doing business with them in the future, even though I like the restaurant. Poor communication, planning, andpolicy. Read more

Woods Fort was a beautiful venue for my son and daughter-in-law’s wedding reception. They have a beautiful facility, great... atmosphere and amazing staff!! Had Easter brunch here. Wasn't that great for the price. Food wasn't that warm, bacon was really chewy and not the greatest, and... was like 32.00 a person for breakfast food and a couple dinner choices. Our bill for 3 people, 2 adults and a 15yr old, was93.00 before tip. . We all had water for our drinks Better food at Sami's and cheaper. Most of the dessert was gone, only afew slices that were out of that was cheesecake. Waitress was great though! Read more
