My wife and I were fortunate enough to have picked this special restaurant for some real authentic style Mexican food. The... service was impeccable, food unsurpassed in quality and amount, and the atmosphere casual and comfortable. My husband and I went to Senor Tequila for our date night this week. Carlos and Alicia are the owners and were incredible! Not... only was the food outstanding, but the service was, as well. Food was old and didn't taste great. Shrimp was rubbery, meat was dry, beans tasted old and going bad. Only good thing was the... service. I would not have gone if I knew it would be this way. Don't recommend. Read more
0 STARS Bad service, Bad management and Horrible food. No seasoning . Ordered a California Burrito off the menu . With no red... sauce on my burrito. It clearly states under Burritos ?all platters served with rice and beans ? THEY DID NOT GIVE ME the riceand beans . When I nicely asked my waitress about the mistake, in return came the Manager. To my surprise because as stated inthe Menu it clearly states ?all platters served with rice and beans ? . The manager came to start yelling at me saying theburrito has everything inside of it and does not need a side of rice and beans . When i stated I expect rice and beans with myorder because it comes as a Platter and is stated clearly in the menu and I showed him as well, with the Senor Tequilas Menu.The manager still refused to serve me and response of, ?well i don?t care what the menu says, the burrito has everything insideand that is all?. I always have a great experience at Senior Tequila the food is fantastic, the drinks are well made, and the staff are very... accommodating. Our server, who?s name (I think) is Michael, was exceptional - delivering everything we asked for very quickly.He was super responsive and his service made the evening all the more enjoyable. Upon entering, my wife and I stood at the front for nearly 5 minutes before anyone acknowledged us. Several servers, the... bartender and someone who seemed to be the manager walked past us without saying a word. They weren?t seemingly very busy. Wewere finally seated in the bar area & received water and chips (no salsa) We sat there for 20 MINUTES and nobody came to takeour order. I finally got up and approached who I thought was the manager and told him that we had been sitting for a long timeand no one had introduced themselves as our server, or tried to take our order. This manager was very rude, acted irritated thatI even had anything to say, and walked to table and picked up chips and said, ?Well who brought this then? He is very busy.?Never apologized for the wait or the poor guest service. As a restaurant manager myself, I would never speak to a guest or treatthem the way this gentleman treated my wife and I. We got up and walked out and will not be returning. I was completelydumbfounded that this was the service we received, and from a manager. I know everyone is dealing with staff shortage, but thatis no excuse. We were ready to order when we sat down and should have been given the chance when water was dropped. I have beenin the past and never had an issue. We were there to celebrate our anniversary and instead were met with unacceptable serviceand behavior. He made it seem like it was our fault for even walking in the door. This manager needs to be educated on guestservice. Read more
