Way over priced, the prices listed are wrong, and the food is frozen section quality. There are several other American Chinese... restaurants in the area that are much more reasonably priced and don't leave you waiting 10 minutes before even seeing anemployee. The menu they have at the counter is the "old menu" with old prices. It's the same menu they have on one of their"old website". You need to get lucky and choose the right website when googling to get the right prices. And those prices arefrankly insane for what you're getting. Read more
We ordered delivery. It was half an hour late on top of the 60 minute time given. We called to check on our order because it... was taking so long, and a pleasant woman answered and said it was on the way. When it arrived, all the food was cold and soggy. The egg foo young was mushy, greasy, and flavorless--the worst I've ever had. The gravy for it was equally bad, clumpy andwithout any taste. Vegetable lo mein was flavorless and only had a couple pieces of broccoli, no other veggies. The pieces inthe Dragon and Phoenix were all breading no meat, and, I know I sound like a broken record, but all seriously lacking in flavor. We used to go to the House of Hunan when it was under to the old owners and loved it every time. We went recently and the only... person we saw was a 8 year old boy who went in the room behind the register and he got yelled at for bothering them. He thenwent to the kitchen and a man came out and asked if it was carry out. We asked if we could eat in and he looked confused. Allthe table were pushed over along the wall and he said no heat. We got the feeling he didn't want us there so we thought that wasa good warning not to eat there and we left. Now we are too scared to go back. Read more
My wife and I went here after getting a flyer in the mail a while ago. She was really excited to try it as we both love Chinese... food but aren't always in the mood for a buffet. We went around 4 and the place was completely dead. There was a table thatlooked like it had seated 6 people that shill had dishes on it. It looked clean enough but less like a restaurant and more likean old school gym with tables and chairs in it. The guy was attentive but did not ask if we wanted drinks he just brought uswater in glassed. The water was luke warm and had no ice but we figured whatever. I order the Beef and Mushrooms with chickenfried rice. The beef and mushroom was good and tasted as fresh as you'd expect. The chicken chunks in the rice were like rubberand did not have much flavor. My wife ordered the Pork lo mien and pork fried rice. There were 3 people there that we saw. Alittle boy behind the counter who was loudly playing video games the whole time, a woman and a man who we assumed were bothservers. While we looked over the menus the woman and man leaned on extra chairs at our table and had a personal conversationwhile stopping every few seconds to ask us if we were ready. We ordered crab Rangoon as an appetizer. They were OK but did nottaste fresh to me. Overall, it was a decent experience but not one i will seek out in the future. The food was on cold dishes there was no heat and it was about 60? in their the service was almost non existent we got our food... and never heard from her again. There were no other people there and I doubt there will be very many unless things change theyhad no ice for the water or the pop and no glass for the pop I had asked for salt and pepper so I don't know how they're goingto make it with no heat and no ice and no service And also the entryway smelled like someone had just finished smoking in theirit was icky and I love Chinese both of us do not going back there and we were the only ones eating so I don't think it's goingtoo well. I order delivery from here about twice a month and have never had any problems. They always deliver on time or earlier. Egg... rolls and pot stickers are much better than with the previous owner! I get sesame chicken almost every time and I wouldrecommend it. I have not actually ate in the restaurant in years so I can't speak for in house but delivery is great! Read more
