My wife and I stopped here to eat on the way home. The food was great and the service was great. I had the grilled maple and... bacon chicken. It was delicious. Service personnel were pleasant and helpful but the kitchen/food delivery fell significantly short. To go order was originally... missing 2 items but host retrieved missing items as possible (out of pie though sadly). Food items, once opened in the car, werequite disappointing. Their ?Stuffed Cheesecake Pancake Breakfast? was just two folded over pancakes with icing glaze spread inbetween them. It had been a while since I stopped at a Cracker barrel. Since it is Wednesday I was thinking chicken pot pie. Right? Slowest service I have ever experienced at a Cracker Barrel. We got seated almost immediately, the restaurant not very busy at... all. We ordered blueberry pancakes and chicken dumplings. It took over 30 minutes to get our food and I had to ask a managerfor the check because our waiter was AWOL. Read more

It was a madhouse during our Saturday lunchtime visit. We only waited for about 10 minutes, but enjoyed browsing the shop in the... cool air on a nearly 100 degree day. Did we love the food? The pancakes were excellent and the eggs and bacon were cookedperfectly for my daughter's breakfast. Her meal was by far better than mine or my friend's. I had chicken tenders and he had thepork chop meal. We both agreed that neither tasted fresh, and made us think of high school cafeteria previously frozen meat.Same with the fries. Okay so #1. We had the best server ever. I?ve had him once before and he never fails to put a smile on my face as well as... whoever I bring with me. Karl is like awesome! Definitely attentive to our needs and very engaging in conversation. Biscuitswere bussin and the food was so good! He also kept our drinks filled always. I am so sad I went to this Cracker Barrel Old Country Store. We were from out of state and wanted to eat someplace that we felt... comfortable eating the food. We have eaten at several Cracker Barrels with good service and food. We arrived at the cleanstore around 2:30 P.M. The place was busy, so we were told a 30-minute wait. The employees were friendly as we made our tablerequest. The server was on the spot with drinks as when sat down. She took our order and then THE WAIT. The server would comeback and apologize for the wait and fill glasses. I am not joking when I say it took at least 45 minutes to an hour to get ourfood. I was thinking they ran out of food and had to go to the store. Usually, I would have walked out without service, but Ihad two children ready to eat. They were not happy with the long wait. I asked for some biscuits and honey to help them withthe delay. The server brought the bread and honey out with one of five meals. She continued to bring the meals out one or twoat a time until we received all of the meals. Several of the meals were missing items. The food was temperature hot, so it hadnot sat around waiting for delivery. I wondered why no one else was helping her bring the food out at once since the restaurantwas not so busy now. We ate and left the dishes on the table since no one came out to clean them. I noticed that severaltables had dishes on them well after the customers left. The lack of clearing tables may have been what caused our 30-minutewait! I talked to one of the managers, who was able to assist me with my inconveniences. I was embarrassed by taking my familythere. They know I like good food and they were ready for a good meal. I let them down at this place. Needless to say thatyou should not go here unless you want to waste part of a day in your life waiting to be seated and then another part gettingyour food. Read more
