Keep raising those prices and you'll lose long time customers like me. Ordered a combo with homemade fries and paid with a 20,... got back 4 bucks and some change. These burgers are covid taxed to hell.. Read more

We stopped on our way to Austin instead of stopping at a big-chain fast food restaurant and this place was awesome! My fam was a... little worried when no one was there- but we went at an awkward time on a Friday afternoon between lunch and dinner. We all hadburgers with fries and tater tots and the entire family loved it! The burgers were the classic, diner- juicy with the perfectamount of toppings/condiments on them. The fries and tater tots were cooked to perfection. We will definitely stop by again ifwe head this direction! A must stop between Dallas and Austin! Service was excellent as well! Read more

Great fresh fantastic tasting 3 meat burger with cheese, bacon, avocados, fresh jalapeños, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles... and. Onion rings delicious as well as the Dewberry craft soda. Customer first service. Don't forget a huge fluffy but stillchewy brownie with nuts. An absolutely delightful dining experience all the way down to the Lady sweeping and keeping thedining room clean with a smile at the same say come again soon. ???????? Read more

Quick stop off on road trip to Austin. Awesome find! Along with our meal which was excellent and very affordable, we split a... chili cheese dog as an appetizer. Best hotdog I've ever eaten. Read more

Exceptional service and food. I was looking for a local place to meet my friends for an hour in Waco and this was a solid win.... (Also, it's away from traffic centers. Not so close to any of the sites, if that is a concern.) We did not participate in thechallenge (see pics) but it looked like fun, too. The men's bathroom was clean when I went in the store, but my wife hadexception to the women's. Maybe they could be a little more diligent about that. We will definitely stop here again when we arejust having a lunch in Waco. The menu has been updated (thanks to inflation) since the last picture I saw here, so I posted anew menu. We did not try the ice cream, but they offered Blue Bell, which is "the best ice cream in the country." Haha...but itmakes the store into a smaller version of Braum's. And better burgers, too. Burger was good but over priced. Onion rings were overcooked and standard issue yuk. I was also over charged. Receipt showed... 16.55 but it added up to 14.46. there is sign in the restaurant that due to costs, prices are 10% more than advertised. If youlook at the receipt (on my burger basket pic) and compare to the menu pic prices are already more than 10% higher. I hate beingripped off. For the average food and being over charged I'll not return. Better alternatives available in the area. Read more

First trip here. Didn’t start well. The mix was off on most of the fountain drinks and it took four tries to find one that... didn’t taste like carbonated water. Although there was one couple before us, took 15 minutes to get two burger baskets. Finally, a chance at the much acclaimed “Dave’s“ burger. It was as good as any you’ll try in Waco, but that isn’t whatstood out. I absolutely loved the fresh, hand cut fries. Wonderful! Just like I used to get at Cupp’s. Made the trip more thanworth it. I’ll come back just for them. Read more

My wife came before me telling me was so good, she bring me here a Saturday that wasn’t busy, let me tell you guys one of the... best burgers I ate, I got the jalapeño burger, that any place will put pickle jalapeños but the put fresh cut ones! home madeshakes with blue bell ice cream, onion rings on point and tots crispy and potentially addicted. If you’re on the road andclose to it don’t miss the opportunity. Totally worth it. Read more
