Normally I would NEVER give a bad review.. but I'm hoping this will help the restaurant. The food was very bland, overcooked and... took forever to come out. I have to say, I've eaten at the Islands in Long Beach, and it was AMAZING! So I was reallydisappointed here. Especially because I hyped it up to my family and it was their first time here. They probably won't be back.????I, however, believe in second chances. So I'll try again. If it's better, I'll absolutely change this review. Sorryguys... Everything was made/cooked/served exactly the way we ordered it. Thankyou Island's (and Joey our server) for the great food and service! Today 11/22/22 I was invited to Islands for the first time in West Covina. A group of 17 people. I was excited it smelled... delicious as I walked up. So when our planner called to make a reservation the person on the phone said 1st come 1st serve. Sohere we are half the group does not have a table. This is not a good 1st impression. As long as I been sitting out here not oncehas the manager come to see if everything is ok. So this is all I ate. I expect a table to have lunch at a restaurant not achair. And the chair no one provided one of the girls went to grab it. Not sure what the Islands chain has to say about this.This is the West Covina location, located on Barranca Ave. Read more

Islands has amazing truffle fries. Their burgers are pretty good. I don't really like burgers but this is one of the few places... that I will get a burger. They're shakes are pretty good too. Honestly islands is pretty awesome all around. This location isnever too crazy busy. The service so far has been great. Read more

Stopped in for some Angles V Mets baseball game, had a few beers, burger & fries. Great staff and great entertainment.

Despite having no reservation and two groups of seven people, we were seated within five minutes. The service was great and the... staff were on top of refilling drinks. The service was great and we had extra sauces and to go boxes for some of our food. Myonly complaint would be the lack of paper menus since only one of us were scan the QR code on the table to access the digitalmenu. Read more

My first time here and was totally swept away with the amazing service from our server Selena. I have food allergies and she... took care of it all, also checked into details, which is amazing and very important when you have food allergies. Now to therestaurant... Very clean and cozy. Easy to place your order by scanning a QR code at the table. We tried two burgers, one withteriyaki/pineapple and one with jalapeño/black pepper covered patty. Pineapple was a bit bland, but the one with jalapeño wasamazing. Simply perfect. Try the truffle fries, they are to die for! Over all, a great experience! Read more
