We went to this bob Evans on a Sunday morning around 10 AM. Even though there were only 3 parties ahead of us and plenty of... seating, we had to wait 45 minutes for a table. The reason we were given is because they were doing take out orders first. When did call in orders or online orders take precedent over people actually in the restaurant? Read more
I thought food was to be good coming from Bob Evans. Unfortunately I am mistaken. Denny's is way better. On 8/8/2022 I... ordered dinner for 6. Also ordered a pecan salad. I ordered it at 6:11. I was informed it would arrive at 7:05. It arrivedat 7:24. The Door dash driver made another stop. I checked my receipt and he supposedly picked it up at 6:52. So here is myproblem. Everything was cold. With a deduction, it would appear the food had been sitting on the counter at Bob Evans for 5 to10 minutes before the Door dash driver picked up the food . Then another 30 minutes before reaching me. The fried potatoeswere hot when in container, yet they sweated so much it was filled with water. The pecan salad had dried grilled chicken andthe blue cheese in the salad should have been feta. I tried contacting Door dash they said I had to contact Bob Evans. Iemailed and NO response. I'm not a fan of chains, but wanted to try out Bob Evans because it's described as "home style cooking." The lesson of my visit:... be suspicious when a national chain claims to be similar to home cooking! There is no comparison. I've had some of theirbreakfast meats and they are extremely greasy. Also overpriced. The place, when you walk in, isn't as tidy as it could betoo. Their Cobb salad does not taste fresh at all. The chicken is stringy and taste a bit frozen, exactly what you'd expectfrom low quality frozen meat at a national chain. The vegetables are limp and flavorless; so was the bacon. Their sauces are fartoo heavy, especially salad dressings. I believe they are known for their rolls and biscuits. I tried some of them, and theywere mediocre. Not terrible, but not special in any way. They were mostly flavorless but had a bit of salt. The outside washard, the inside was a bit softer. There's really no reason to eat at this chain unless you are pinched for time or have somekind of fondness for greasy chain food. There are places nearby that serve much tastier breakfasts (some even at a cheaperprice!) and they are locally owned. Read more

Ordered delivery for thanksgiving for my in-laws so they could have a thanksgiving meal this year and 15 minutes AFTER it was... supposed to be delivered, I got an email saying my order was canceled. Unbelievable! With the email they sent their number to becalled and when I called it they would not answer. For 1 1/2 I tried to call to see why my order was canceled and finallysomeone picked up and told me it was doordash fault and I could come pick it up. Mind you by now it is almost 2 hours later andI had already made my in-laws food and brought it over , something I should have just done In the first place. They told me tocall doordash for a refund . I called doordash and they tell me it?s bob evans fault and they did not make my order and thatthey are responsible for my refund . All I want is my 130 dollars back and i don?t care who refunds it! Bob Evan?s ruinedthanksgiving for my family and did nothing but give me the run around .
