Love this place!! We did not know what seitan was so we asked... The great kid at the register did not know for sure but was... wheat based. He said he'd never had it...i asked how long he had worked there.. 3 years... And you've never tried it... Nope...Our food was ready and we went to our table. 5 minutes later I went to the salsa bar and grabbed 3 small cups. My daughter andI went to the counter and I lined up the 3 cups and $5... The other lady busted out laughing... Obviously he had told her wewere drilling him on trying it... They cooked up 3 slices.. It got busy so we waited for him... 1st time lunch. Very good. Take-out or eat-in. Open, airy dining room. Order & pay, get a number, food placed on service... counter for you to pick up. Cooked to order right behind service counter. Self-serve soft drinks & choice of three salsa. Had3 stuffed fresh jalapeno as app (NOT the frozen stuff) served with a spoonful of rice. Beef brisket lunch plate with rice &pink beans with excellent corn tortillas. Also Korean tacos with no sides; these were made using a large flour wrap & then cutin half (instead of typical taco-style tortillas) so were unexpected. Everything very good and staff extremely patient with newcustomers just learning their system. Great location if you're shopping at Table & Vine or Costco , the restaurant is right inthe heart of the Riverdale complex. Read more
First time trying Bueno y Sano and it was so good!! My husband could not get over the size of the burrito he got, that thing was... huge!! My 5 year old daughter who never wants to eat quesadillas could not stop saying how good her chicken quesadilla was! Idon?t know if we were all just super hungry or what it was, but we really enjoyed our dinner! Definitely going back! Read more
