We had Shivani come for my hubby?s birthday to teach us how to cook a traditional Indian Street food recipe. The food was... delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed this experience!! Shivani was a welcoming hostess and fabulous teacher at the recent cooking class I took with her. She is fun, friendly and full... of amazing information about the Curry dishes and the ingredients we were using. I loved that she referenced her Mother'steachings a lot. Very authentic. Today , i have ordered butter naan with paneer butter masala. But there was no butter on the naans and it tastes very bad with... mud On it. Really, it was a very bad experience for me. It didnot taste like indian food at all. Never seen naan like this. Read more
I am a little perplexed to be writing this review, as so many other reviews are glowing! I visited Shivani?s for my first time... today, and was immediately hungry from the delicious smells wafting out of their kitchen. I ordered a butter chicken combo witha veggie samosa and garlic naan. They were gracious enough to use the container that I brought with me, which Iappreciated! Once home, I was underwhelmed with the butter chicken....it didn?t taste like butter chicken at all, and didn?thave any gravy to speak of. I actually wonder if I was served the incorrect dish? The samosa was also disappointing ...verythick, dry pastry that was cold. The filling, however, had beautiful spices and was delicious. Read more
The 2 servers working behind the counter were both really accommodating and welcoming! The prices are very reasonable and they... offer cooking classes too. I would take off a Star here, as the flavors are not very Indian / spicy / authentic. It is madefresh to order and some stuff might be better than others. Read more
?The food here is amazing! I took a recommendation from the "shivani" and got an amazing dish"Chi. Biryani"& Chana masala with... Naan. They did great portion sizes! And they let us take the rest home! Absolutely wonderful! Fully recommend 10/10? Read more
I love the products....the spices are awesome. The Paneer is tooooo good! Finally a delicious paneer we have been waiting for.
