The tastiest food, everything is well-seasoned. The man waiting on our table is very knowledgeable and so friendly. If you like... Puerto Rican food, come here. Who knew that their Cuban sandwich is better than in Miami! Read more

Wylie?s hidden gem! I haven?t had Puerto Rican food like this in years! Just like how mom used to make it! I?ll be eating here... every weekend from now on. Prices are good, service is friendly and I like the atmosphere inside the place. Read more

I ate a bacalaito, thin crispy outside and dense in the center, tasted great and fresh. Mofongo tasted good would?ve prefer it... to be more soft but that?s my personal preference. Overall great place and I?ll be back. Read more

Coming from NYC I was wondering if I would be able to find any Puerto Rican establishments that would measure up to the food... from back home. With a little digging I found this little gem tuck away in St.Paul, Tx. I ordered pernil with white rice andbeans-and the first bite bought be back to my childhood when I lived in Brooklyn and my mom would cool this dish on the weekend. The rice and beans had really good flavor and the pork was moist. I've been to all of the Puerto Rican restaurants in the DFW area and this is by far the best one! Great food + great service =... excellent value. Definitely the #1 go to spot for us! Thank you and keep up the great work! Read more

This place seems to be in a little bit of an odd area, kind of a hidden gem unless you're looking for it but definitely worth... going a bit out of the way. I had the pernil asado and my wife had the pollo asado. Both meats were very tender and had greatflavor. They give you a nice portion of food and the place itself feels very "homey." It's a small restaurant but while there, 2very large families (7+ people) came in and sat down like they were coming to abuelas for Sunday dinner. Overall me an my wifeenjoyed the food and experience and we'll for sure be back! Read more

¡Como en casa! Food was appetizing and authentic. We started with alcapurrias ?meat and masa were well seasoned. The bacalaíto... was plate-sized, crunchy at the rim and soft in the center, a disc of pure deliciousness. The guineítos en escabeche remindedme of those my Abuela made for us, the guineo was well cooked and the flavors were developed and balanced. The cuajitos werevery tasty and flavorsome. For entrées, we had mofongo, one with shrimp in sauce, another with carne frita and the other onewith bistec. The plantain was king and both proteins complemented it pretty well. I did not taste the tripleta but my son foundno fault. Portions were decent, service was fast and excellent, and prices were hard to beat. For dessert, we had flan(fantastic flavor and texture) quesitos, and pastelillos de guayaba. Their soft drink selection is acceptable, with Malta India,Coco Rico, and Cola Champagne being our choices for the day. Yes, we were hungry but surely we were satisfied and left contentand looking forward to our next visit. It is worth the trip, no matter the drive. Read more
