The cashier was on her phoneand barely acknowledged us. salsas and fixings were not covered and had flies flying everywhere.... There was what looked like food coloring on our tacos that stained our hands and the meat was cold and had no flavor. We likedthe truck much better. Birria El Gordo has quickly become my favorite restaurant in Yuma. The food is phenomenal and the staff are extremely nice and... helpful. I recommend the Quesatacos (as many as you can eat) but the Tapatio ramen is also very good. They have great optionsfor family sized meals as well which I?ve bought for work functions on a few occasions. On top of everything, they give a 25%discount to military / LE / and first responders. Our food was okay. Fries were greasy. I was expecting waffle fries as the menu showed, but didn?t get them. Sadly hardly any... toppings from the salsa bar to put in our food. The torta was good. Read more

Maybe I am being a bit critical but my experience was to the right side of average. From outside the restaurant looks great and... I was pumped to give it a shot. I ordered the Asada Fries and I included a picture to this review. The fries we ok but the asadawas great, with cheese all over. Overall good. The inside of the restaurant looked like a toy aisle at Walmart, napkindispensers empty, salsa bar empty, signs on the ground, and music so loud I could not hear my order being called.
